CHALK RULES!

It's such a nice day so we decided to play with chalk a little bit with mom. It's always fun to do this, then the rain comes and it makes our driveway turn colors! Mom wrote something about us, but all we could read was our names. She said it was nice, so we believe her.

We're SO lucky!

Just in case you didn't know- Abby and Brenna are lucky to have really cool Aunts in their lives. Aunt Sandie let them have a sleep over this summer which they still talk about, and they're SO excited she'll be living with us again for a while! (They'll just have to learn that Sandie needs to be sleeping when she is home during the week especially!)

They also have a nice Aunt Janna who is and has been willing to help watch the girls for me on days that I need to go back to work after they get home from school. And yesterday was one of those days. Abby came home and told me that they ate lunch on the balcony, but I knew that they didn't have patio furniture out there, so I asked her what they sat on and she went into a typical detailed story that only Abby can tell. (Brenna's stories are getting more and more detailed too, and it's always amusing!) Anyway, she told me about how "Janna put a cute little box outside that wasn't too high and then she put a cute cloth thing over it, and then we got to sit on pillows and eat our lunch outside. And Mom, it was SO fun!" So, needless to say- they thought it was pretty cool. Janna took a picture of it and just sent it to me, so here it is.
Thanks Aunt Janna!

I think we'll need to take advantage of eating outside while we still can... because it's getting cold(er)!!!!

First day @ new preschool!

Brenna had her first day of pre-school yesterday and loved it! We're trying out a new place where they have a 5 day a week program (Mom says YEAH!). I thought it would be good since she wants to be just like her big sister, so now at least they are at school the same time and same days... so we'll see how it goes.

Her teachers name is Miss Cindy and so far she says Brenna has been fabulous in class. For those of you that know Brenna know how strong willed she is, so I hope she doesn't try to take charge of the classroom is all!

She kept telling me that I had to take lots of pictures like I did of Abby,
so here she is in very typical Brenna poses!

Then she wanted a silly picture taken.
And I love the expression on her face in this one... she's a silly girl and I love watching
her grow into a little me... I mean, a little girl!

Rainbow & Wind!

We were downstairs watching TV when Aunt Sandie told us to come up and see the huge rainbow over the house.

"It was the brightest rainbow I ever saw (Abby)"
We saw it in the backyard..
and over the house...

Then in the front yard.... it was huge!

Then it got a little windy...ya think??

Our afternoon at the Harrison's property

Aunt Ruthann & Uncle Dennis invited us out to their property yesterday... they let us ride their Quads... it was sooooo cool! Check out our pics

We made a new treat... roasted stale marshmellow's.... yummy! We had such a fun day... Thanks for letting us come invade your peace and quiet!

"I'm a SOCCER girl"

Okay- I'm not one to say I'm huge into sports, but my girls are becoming of age, where I feel like I should be getting them involved in this world of outdoor activities. So, silly me spaced the registration for soccer, but luckily a family in our ward was coaching the team that Abby's favorite girl friend Sierra was on. I begged Parks & Rec to let her on that team (technically she shouldn't be playing on that team because she's not "6" yet, but I pretty much assumed she wouldn't play if she wasn't on Sierra's team) and it worked! She is practically the smallest girl on the team, but oh well... it's just a game, right? All they do at this point is act like they are magnetized to the ball! There is one other gilr on her team who is just as petite as Abby--- and they even have the same hair cut! How cute?!

Anyway, I was the big dorky mom with the camera, but it was too cute!
Oh yeah, P.S.- Abby has NEVER played soccer in her life!
She missed the first practice and first game because we didn't know if Parks & Rec
would let her play... so she was pretty amuzing, but also pretty dang cute!

She's #4 by the way!

Nice action shot of her at least running towards the ball.
I was so proud!

She looks all into it here... it made me laugh!

Listening intently to her coach (as if she really knew what he was talking about!).
She was so cute though and kept calling him "Coach".
It was so funny!

And here is Abby and Sierra... best friends!
